This Privacy Policy explains how Banks Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use HomeVault (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Sign-in with Google. When you sign in to HomeVault using Google, we receive the following basic profile information from Google, limited to what you authorize:

We request only the minimal Google OAuth scopes required for authentication (openid, email, profile). We do not request or access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google account data.
Account and usage data. We may also collect information you provide directly within HomeVault, as well as basic technical/usage data (such as log data, device/browser type, and timestamps) needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and authenticate your account;
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents or misuse;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Google account data for advertising purposes.
3. How We Share Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except:
- With service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations;
- If required by law, subpoena, or legal process;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections;
- With your consent.
4. Google User Data
HomeVault's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google account data solely to authenticate you and identify your account within HomeVault — nothing more.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices
You may revoke HomeVault's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us below.
8. Children's Privacy
HomeVault is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
